Kettle River     Oil Pastel     18" x 30"     $245

This larger sized original oil pastel is based on a photograph taken one fall in Banning State Park, near Finlayson, Minnesota.  The river gets its name from these "kettles" sculpted by water out of the solid sandstone bedrock.  The composition appears distorted because we are looking uphill.
