In the Kelly Hills 1998 36" x 18" plus frame SOLD through the Max Gallery This beautiful image is generic enough to be almost anywhere in farm country, but the real location is in the glacial moraine where Douglas, Otter Tail and Grant Counties meet, in west central Minnesota. This area is within just a few miles of the artist's studio.
Between Hawk and Mallard 36" x 66" $5,800 SOLD This scene depicts two of the Review Islands on Rainy Lake, with author Doug Wood's Fawn Island in the background. Other Sold Paintings Henning is a fairly fast and prolific painter. With the exception of two images, paintings on this page were created and sold in a two month period - between December 1, 2006, and February 1, 2007.

"Autumn on the Rio Grande" 24" x 30" Painted from reference photos taken in fall of 2004. "Minnesota Morning" 24" x 30" Painted from reference photos taken by friend and missionary Barb Mikrut as she traveled across northern Minnesota visiting churches.
Scenes of Oak Hill Country The landscapes shown below all were painted and sold since December 1, 2006 (except the first two). All of these scenes are from within a 15 mile radius of Oak Hill Studio. These paintings on stretched canvas were rendered in a more traditional plein air style, on smaller sized canvases.
